It has been a busy week for Maiden Lane. We rehearsed like crazy for our upcoming concert, recorded a new acoustic video, and went into the studio to lay down some tracks. It was so exciting that we wanted to tell you all about it. So here’s the run-down on the latest Maiden Lane news:
- We have a new acoustic video out on YouTube! This song is called “Sick Brain”, and it is a new tune that we’ve only played live a handful of times. Brodie and Grahame busted out their acoustic guitars, Mac dusted off his standup bass (with a bow!), and Eric played two instruments. Check it out:
- WE HAVE A SHOW ON WEDNESDAY! If you’re in San Francisco on February 9th, stop by the Rickshaw Stop at 8 pm for some great music and all around fun times. We’ll be rocking first, then our friends Cash Pony and 7 Orange ABC will play after us. Tickets are $10, and you can get them HERE.
- We are tentatively announcing that our next EP will be out in March. It was recorded this past fall in TRI Studios in San Rafael, and it is being mixed to perfection by Brad Dollar (who rocks). It will have 6 songs, including “Hello,” “Tortoise’s Song,” and “Sick Brain.”
